New Airline Baggage Fees Got You Down?
Wondering how you are going to get your Ski and Snowboard equipment to the resort this winter without spending an arm and a leg to do so? Are you confused as to how exactly all the new baggage fees will work...and how it will all add up?
Sportube has an answer for you. We want you to travel with and use your OWN gear!
Many airlines today are charging $25.00 each way for your first checked bag and the majority are charging $35.00 (or more) for your second checked bag. You can see that a traveler with 2 bags to check, on a round-trip domestic flight can easily spend an additional $120.00 on baggage fees alone. Unfortunately, if you happen to have an 'overweight' bag, additional luggage, or choose to use curb-side check-in you will incur additional fees on top of this!
Sportube would like to offer you an alternative. This winter season, save time, money and hassle by SHIPPING your gear in a SPORTUBE directly to your destination!
Plan Ahead. Ship Instead.
Use your preferred carrier or easily compare shipping info and rates to find the carrier that works best for you. Sportube cases need NO additional packaging (ship them AS IS), simply adhere your address and shipping label, make sure to LOCK your tube (TSA Combination Lock) and ship it directly to your destination. When you arrive, your gear will be waiting safely for you. Think this all sounds great...well guess what? Shipping your gear is affordable too! (We'll help you search for rates.)
Simply pack up your skis and/or snowboard gear in your Sportube along with any other items you would like! Make sure to lock your Sportube and either drop off your tube at a shipping location or call/go online to schedule a pick-up at your home or office! It's your choice...whatever is most convenient for you. Now imagine arriving at the airport for your flight with only a carry-on and ticket in hand knowing that your gear is safely waiting for you at your destination. (Because you've already tracked it of course!)
