5 of 5 Just What I Needed February 14, 2024
Reviewer: Sean Mason from Newark, NJ United States
I needed a solid case for my spear gun that would give me peace of mind when I travel. I know how luggage is treated by baggage handlers.

5 of 5 Veldig god! March 22, 2023
Reviewer: David Longmuir from Seattle, WA United States
I packed the SportTube 2 with 2 pairs of classic skis, a pair of skate skis and my classic and skate poles for my trip to Norway to ski in Sjusjoen and race Birkebeinerrennet. Everything arrived intact and it was easy to navigate Norway’s amazing public transit with  the SportTube. Fortunately, even though I ordered at the last minute, the shipping was speedy.

5 of 5 Nordic / xc skis March 7, 2023
Reviewer: Mark from Appleton, WI United States
I flew with two pair of nordic skis and poles, each secured with a Bagdent ski/pole holder, then strapped together with Voile straps, and then each set in their own ski bag.  Even with that, I was able to put two pair of boots in there with room left over.  The skis and case arrived each time without any issues.  The wheels and handles are simple and worked well.
My recommendation to others is 1) tie a cord from the handle to the shackle-pin so you don't lose it (or TSA doesn't lose it).  2) Put some very unique stickers or colorful straps/webbing on your Sportube - there are a lot of them that show up in Denver during ski season and everyone is lunging at every un-marked Sportube coming off the oversize baggage carousel.

3 of 5 The stench is overwhelming. March 2, 2023
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Toledo, OH United States
The smell from this item is so strong, I haven't even attempted to put a pair of skis in it yet! It's in the garage, airing out, and I check it weekly to see if it gets any better. Several weeks in, it's still rank. Will update review once I actually try to use it.

5 of 5 ski travel home January 18, 2023
Reviewer: Leslie from Tecumseh, MI United States
It will be so nice to have our skis protected when we travel.  We love the hard case!  We were always concerned when they were packed and slammed around during plane travel.  Now we know that they will arrive undamaged.

2 of 5 Bulky January 14, 2023
Reviewer: Ed from North Carolina
I traveled with 2 sets of skis in this case. Both trips I found the case too bulky once we were on ground travel from airport to ski resort via, hotel shuttle van. Second trip we had to take skis out of case to get them to fit in the Suburban (which is a pretty big SUV. Most recent trip the case did not make it to our destination with our other bags. It got routed with BULK items not luggage.  When it was delivered to hotel the axel was broken in half and wheel gone. This is not the fault of the case failing, but the airline treating it like bulk cargo and not luggage. Once in hotel room the case is also too bulky.  I will go back to single ski soft case for travel in future.

5 of 5 Waited far too long to purchase this product December 22, 2022
Reviewer: Ian from Portland, ME United States
A few years ago I noticed a friends' Sportube and realized that my system of duct taping pillows around my skis when I fly might need an upgrade. Finally purchased one and my anxiety about flying with expensive equipment is gone! Tube came out of my most recent flight with an enormous scratch, just further evidence that the protection is necessary!

4 of 5 Pretty Good March 4, 2022
Reviewer: Joe from Brookhaven, GA United States
Multiple sets of skis are not protected from each other. I travel with a set of all mountain skis and powder skis, they BARELY fit with a set of poles. It takes some effort to get it to close. I am worried TSA will not be able to close it again. You need thick rubber bands to hold up the brakes up so that the case will close. You also need long strips of velcro to hold the skis together since you have to nest them awkwardly to get them to fit. Sportube should provide both since they are cheap and most people wont have them. You should use something to protect the bindings from rubbing on the top sheet of the opposite ski if you care about the appearance of your skis.

The material is high quality and I do believe that my skis are well protected from external forces but I cant stop thinking that the case is like a tank without seat belts, the contents are bouncing around into each other.

The removable handle is a great and I think this will last a longer than my last soft bag.
