SporTube® Fishing Rod Case Features

Sportube cases are blow molded from High-Density Polyethylene, which, while being strong and durable, is very lightweight.

Each case is designed to protect valuable sport equipment from the abuses of travel.

Additionally, when mounted to the roof of a vehicle, each case acts to protect your gear from road salt, dust, dirt and grime.

Features:

    Reel Housing
  • Friction Hinge allows reel housing door to stay in “open” position for easy loading and unloading
  • Lockable door for secure storage of rods and reels
  • Open-cell foam padding is removable for custom fitting

    Rod Tubes
  • Snap together for easy assembly/disassembly
  • Sportube has been designed to be as aerodynamic as possible to help reduce wind noise and buffering, tested to 120mph without adverse effects
  • Closed-cell foam padding lines the bottom of each tube to protect rod finish

    Security Bar System (SBS)
  • Bars interlock to keep would-be thieves and vandals from pulling rod tubes apart
  • Bars terminate with Reel Housing Carriage Bolt that is accessible only from the inside of the case reducing risk of theft when reel housing door is locked
  • Injection molded, glass-filled nylon bars are strong, durable, and won’t corrode

    Universal Mounting Brackets and Clamps
    (Not included with Airline/Travel Tube)
  • Mount to most factory roof racks, as well as popular after market racks including Thule® and Yakima®
  • Integrated attachment system is inaccessible when case clamps are locked
  • Glass-filled nylon is durable and long lasting in all climates, and is impervious to salt, water, dust and road grime
