TSA kept my sportive pin so I had to replace.  A set of new pins arrived quickly and they fit!  (Pins ordered from Amazon did not fit the holes).

I was using a wire cable to lock the tube but TSA inspectors usually missed the inner hole so the tube could open up.  They seemed to operate this pint more reliably
