Otherwise, you risk breaking the clip while in transport. For the price of checking a bag with the airline, you can ship it directly to your destination instead. Note** The two holes on the outer portion of each Sportube are not meant to line up both holes at the same time with holes on the inner rib. They are staggered by design to give you smaller increments of adjustment, i.e about every ½” rather than every 1 ½”. Having the tip and tail of the case as tight as possible against the tip and tails of the skis, reduces any chance of movement within the case and therefore reduces the risk of damage. Awesome Company, Great Case! April 7, 2025 Reviewer: Kelly from Denver, CO   We bought this case last year and it has been to Utah, Japan, and Canada! Unfortunately it did not fare well in Canada due to mishandling but our skis were SAFE! The company was quick to respond with options for replacement and providing a letter for the baggage claim. This company is awesome and we would recommend a SporTube to anyone who needs a ski case for the ease of use and protecting out skis. Not to mention the customer service is above and beyond! Great Experience April 4, 2025 Reviewer: Annie from Washburn, WI United States   We needed a new case for two sets of skis.  This case was adjustable to accommodate a lengthier pair (185). Series 2 Sportube - awesome! December 24, 2024 Reviewer: Donald Gibson from Canada   I have been using 2 tubes for almost 20 years for family ski trips within Canada and these tubes are a must for carrying skis to BC destinations on airlines.
