Rubber Band Brake Retainers

Set of four Rubber Band Brake Retainers. Used for keeping your brakes retracted when you are loading your skis into your Sportube.

If you need to purchase straps and bands, we recommend the Strap and Band Pack instead of buying the straps and bands separately. It's the same cost and you get two extra straps and bands.

Occasionally, I purchase replacement parts for my 10 year old SportTube.  The parts typically ship same day.  I purchase the rubber bands for ski tuning, as the SportTube bands are better that the rubber bands that come with ski tuning kits.

2 of 5 Shipping outrageous March 5, 2022
Reviewer: Jeff Rudolph from Naperville, IL United States
I just wanted to get some spare bands in case one broke or I lost one. The minimum order is 4 for $5.00, which is fine, but the shipping is $7.76. You can put the bands in an envelope and ship for less than $1.00. I get there's some handling involved, but $7.76 for some backup bands is preposterous. With no alternative I ordered two packages to reduce the cost of shipping per band, but that was $8.40. Still a ripoff.
