Will My Skis Fit?
As skis and bindings evolved, in 2006, we modified the mold of all Sportube cases to increase the size to accommodate all ski models and binding types. If you have have a question about your particular set of skis and bindings, please double check the technical specs tab above vs. the widest part of your ski.

Inside the Sportube
In additional to foam pads at the tip and tail of the Sportube, we have installed two hook and loop straps to the inside of the case. That way when you are packing the skis, you are able to strap each pair to the side of the case, so they are as tight as possible and there is zero room for movement, keeping the skis, bindings, edges from touching each other.

Still on the Fence?
Need a little more convincing that Sportube hard-sided cases are far superior to any soft bag? Why Sportube?

Solid but to small for two sets of wide skis February 3, 2018

I bought the sport tube double for a recent trip to Japan. It worked great for transporting one set of powder skis that were 188 cm in length, with a width of  14.3cm at the tips ,11.5cm in the waist and 12.8cm at the tales. Plus a good amount of other gear stuffed in-between. It weathered the trip with only a few dents in the corners. The wheels are a huge help when negotiating Tokyo subways and train stations. I was hoping to use it for another trip. And aimed at taking two pair of skis., but after numerous attempts to get both the powder boards and the more area oriented skis in; I came to the conclusion it just wasn't going to happen. In hind sight I should have gotten the largest of the sport tubes for my ski transport needs.

Used the Series 2 Special Edition for a trip to Telluride from New Jersey and everything was great, kept my ski gear all in one package and there was no damage to the skis.  I would highly recommend this product for any airline travel.

Series 2 Review April 8, 2016

Overall pleased with this product.  One tube however got dented in the corner from the airline luggage handler.  The corners are hard plastic so I was surprised it got damaged.  The main thing however was the skis were not damaged and the sport tube did it's job.  In addition the wheels and pull handle made it very convenient for airport traveling.  Also being able to pack two skis in one tube cut down on two extra bags saving on fees and not having to lug any extra luggage around.  In summary, this is a product I recommend.
